Camp Taylor is a year round outdoor recreational facility in a perfect setting for weddings, reunions, and youth activities. Camp Taylor encourages youth groups, handicapped and underprivileged to experience an outdoor setting. Camp Taylor is located on the east fork of Mink Creek on leased forest service land. Formerly used as a Boy Scout camp and named Camp Tendoy, it was also used by Girl Scouts and Camp Fire Boys and Girls. After the main lodge was destroyed by fire, the community rallied to provide funds to rebuild and add a nurses cabin. Al Taylor was instrumental in the rebuilding effort and the camp was later renamed Camp Taylor in his honor. Camp Taylor is available for use on a rental basis with fees per person billing. See the Camp Taylor calendar link for availability.
